Disappointed with Wavy Runner

I love the color and the natural fibers BUT the jute stripes are wavy and won’t lie flat. The white wool strips lay flat. I’ve laid boards with heavy paint cans on top to flatten them. It’s been 2 weeks and they’re still wavy. I’m afraid someone is going to trip and fall on it.

Nice rug but returned because the color was more teal than blue. Come of the pictures had it accurate and some didn’t and I hoped it was blue.
