Not worth the price; not for Texas
I would not buy this pad for an outdoor rug in Texas. Our heat would melt it. It also seems to have been over priced for the poor quality.

This thin rubber pad is very hard to lay down on the floor exactly where you want it. Once you think you've done that and try to get the rug on top of it, good luck. The rug will never be placed right on top of where it should be. If you try to move it, you can't because it is sttuck to the rubber pad. If you pull really hard the rubber pad will move and you're no further along then when you started. If you don't want the rug to move just use 2 sided carpet tape, not this nonsense.

Not much of a pad
The product I received isn’t really a pad. While it might add no slip, I didn’t need that feature for outside. The grid is large and the material so thin it’s light not having a pad. In fact, I did not order this pad when I purchased my second rug.
