Round Rugs
Round rugs are an increasingly popular option for several different rooms in the home. You'll often find them in dining rooms placed beneath the table. If you have a circular dining room table, choosing a rug that's slightly bigger than the table creates a unique visual element. They also work under square or rectangle dinner tables and create an interesting contrast with the sharp corners of the table. If you're adding a round rug to your dining room to protect the floors, one thing to consider is a rug big enough to protect the floors when the chairs are pulled out, so be sure to measure accordingly.
It's less common to find a round rug in the living room where there's more furniture to protect the floor from.
