what I expected

I ordered this rug as a play rug for my 6 month old's play pen that would match my living room. The colors are what I was expecting and the baby loves the rug! she likes to pet the red fish especially. the pictures on this website do show you what to expect.

Beautiful statement piece!

This rug is gorgeous! Bought it for a new vaguely-nautical-themed bedroom and it is a great statement piece without overwhelming the space; the fish pattern is unique but not so crazy that it's hard to match with anything. I laid it down a week ago and there are still some waves in it but it has relaxed a lot. One edge was curled up pretty severely but it we rolled it the opposite way for a day and it flattened out (and it was under a heat register so I believe that helped). No weird smells or anything. The light part isn't white but more of a taupe color. Soft pile but you will want a decent pad underneath if you are laying it on a hard floor.
