So it’s definitely not black and white. It’s more of a cream color. It sheds and the black part is always shedding onto the cream part.

The rug is beautiful. It’s nice and thick and luxurious. It lays flat on the floor no curled edges. Reasonably priced for a wonderful rug.

It feels great too: thick bouncy warm.Would give it 5 stars for look and feel.However please be aware it is not zero maintenance! As a new wool rug and with the experience of wool carpets I expected some fibers to shed off initially. I vacuumed daily for two weeks and continue to vacuum at least once a week but after two months I'm still half filling my small vacuum stick bag with fluff from it. Moreover the fibers don't just stick on the rug they fly all around the apartment so every surface gets covered in 1-5mm black and white fibers. It is like having a dog.
