I bought this a month ago and it shipped quickly. It’s soft (think soft like loom weave vs. fuzzy carpet) and since it’s hand knotted expect imperfections as it adds to the character. I have this in a low traffic area (my home office) and it looks beautiful. Be careful when vacuuming as the brush shouldn’t touch (maybe set to bare floor?) since it can pull at the material. Very happy with my purchase!

There are some areas that seem like it's a little cheaply made when I got it like where the padding is coming out or where some lines in the rug are a different color white than the rest of the rug. Overall I'd still recommend this rug though it's generally what I expected from the stock images.

Upon arriving the rugs thread that binds the strips is much darker in person and the tassels are made of this a deep tan or very light khaki brownish color. It doesn’t show this very well in the photos. My existing rugs of the exact same design use matching white thread binding and tassels making for a lighter and brighter overall look. The rug is thick and excellent quality but because the threads and tassels don’t match my existing ones I will be returning.

It is being used under my dining room table so the defects aren't that noticeable and weren't worth the hassle of sending back. So I contacted customer service just to let them know about it. They responded immediately and made amends for the defects in the rug. Good customer service is rare these days so I really appreciated the responsiveness.
