CHINDI RUG

I am writing this in response to Eilly's comment about being disappointed about the different colours of the two rungs she bought. Chindi means small pieces. The rugs are made by stitching small bits of leftover cloth from various fabrics. The pieces are the discarded bits left over after cutting cloth to stitch dresses; and collected from tailors and garment factories. It's impossible for two rugs made from chindi cloth to be similar. Each piece is unique.

lovely rug

The colours are pretty and it's very warm and casual. I'm quite happy with the rug. What I am not as happy about are the multiple requests to review it!!!

Super Colorful!!

I bought two rugs a few weeks ago and just received them. They are very colorful and each have very different coloring. One is very orange green etc. while the other has more warm tones as pictured. While I'm a little disappointed in the difference in coloring I will keep them because both cannot be viewed at the same time (on either side of the bed).
