It’s always a gamble buying things online but I’m very happy with this purchase. The pattern and colors were as pretty for real as they appeared in the pictures. I just got it so can’t speak to how it will hold up over time but appears to be good quality.

The coloring and quality was a unique blend of dingy, already used look. And then to top it off it tapered….started out at 24 inches and then slowly narrowed to 22 inches. If you’re decorating a rhombus hallway, you’ve found your rug.

Reviewing a different size or color: 12 Ft Runner · Beige and BlackWe purchased the Kala Jute multi rug in 7’8” x 10 ft for the living room in our mountain abode. We are going for a modern but rustic southwestern look. We think the rug suits the look we want. It’s a pretty rug and definitely rustic. The colors in all light conditions are less vibrant than in the various online photos on the website. Luckily the colors, though muted, were not unexpected: they are a terra cotta. Tan or camel, a beige or linen shade, and dark gray borders with a slight brownish tone. The colors blend well with our sofa and the look of our room. It is true that the rug comes folded and the folds still linger. I am trying all the remedies listed in the rug care page included: rolling backwards against the folds, using a hair dryer on folds (at low temp about 8 inches away). In one corner some of the knitting was coming undone when we received the rug, a flaw I am trying to find a way fix in some way or less make more visible. Because the tug was well wrapped in heavy sealed plastic, I imagined that flaw was a result of insufficient quality control rather delivery issues. We do appreciate the design of the rug and love the earthy colors and look we’ve wanted for our room. We do hope the jute holds up over time. The rug is very thin but seems stable on our thin wall to wall carpet. We will purchase a rug pad in the future if needed, but it seems fine without one for the time being. My only concern is if the carpet dyes should fade on the rug or if the color of the carpet will fade a lot in the sun. We have heavy shades but when they are open, the room gets a lot of sun!
