It is rustic without being “too much.” I live in a cabin with wooden walls, floors and ceilings, so the design is very appropriate, and the Southwestern touches blend with the rest of my decor. I like the low pile and different colors throughout the rug, as I have 3 cats and struggle endlessly with the hair they shed. The low pile makes it easy to vacuum, and so far the design makes any cat hair less visible, as I had hoped it would!
