The quality of this rug far exceeded my expectations! The weave is tight and the rug is backed with a durable canvas so dirt doesn't seep through the weave and gives the rug a great weight so it doesn't slip. The rug is also trimmed so there won't be any fray. Exceptional value.

If you are thinking of buying a jute rug buy the luxe type with the backing. Much better than the usual jute only. Decent rug for the money.

Although you warned us of discolouration as it is a natural product, the amount of discolouration is significant. The rug has been down for about a week and looks like a dirty stained mat in my kitchen. Would not recommend this mat.

Do not buy!

I’ve had this runner in my garage for over a week “airing out” as it has a HORRIBLE chemical odor. I’ve sprayed it multiple times with Febreeze and other sprays but it is still awful. There’s NO WAY this can be in our house. What a waste of money
